11-24 Jul 2021 Bruneck (Italy)

bruneckThe international summer school "Fundamental Problems in Statistical Physics XV" is to be held in the summer of 2021 in Bruneck, a town in the Italian Dolomites.

Lectures will begin on Monday, July 12. We ask participants to arrive on Sunday, July 11 in the afternoon/evening. The last lecture is on Friday evening and departure is on Saturday morning, July 24, after breakfast.

The school, adressed to PhD students and early postdocs, aims to provide pedagogical introductions given by leading experts to fundamental areas of statistical mechanics.  Each theme is developed in two lectures of two hours duration followed by topical seminars of one hour. The format of the school allows ample time for discussions and interaction with the speakers and the other participants. All participants are invited to present a poster of their own research.
